Black hits the tice ball

The Standard Opening has been employed, and Black has hit the tice ball.

There are many options now available, but what do you think is the best line of play to adopt?

Danny Huneycutt's Gravatar Depending on how far north red has been roqueted to I would do one of the following: 1) Athick takeoff to take position to run hoop 1 and proceed to generate a break or 2) most likely do a thick takeoff to blue, move blue and black nort to maximum distance leaving a rush to red on 5th turn and holding my breath that yellow does not hit. I may even takeoff from blue to gain position at hoop 1 and if I fail return to boundary with rush on blue to red.

Leo Nikora's Gravatar 1. Croquet Red to hoop #2, and Black to near Blue.
2. Set rush for Blue towards hoop #1, being careful not to give a double target from A baulk.

barry gould's Gravatar I am a '6'. Thick take off to blue, moving red towards hoop 2 between hoops 1 & 2. Roquet blue, roll to maximum points on West boundary leaving a rush to hoop 2. If yellow misses, rush to hoop 2, take off to red and make hoop 1 etc with 3 ball break, picking up yellow asap.
